Vani Sharma is a Grade 11 student at Welland Centennial Secondary school. This is her 3rd year on MYAC, and has served as Publicity and Promotions, Vice-chair, and has the privilege of being chair this year. She currently works 2 part time jobs at Youth Innovations and the Welland Arena. She is also on the Centennial Students Council as the Deputy Prime Minister. Vani plans to complete her Bachelor of Science and then go to Law school in the future. During her spare time, she enjoys dancing and spending time with her friends. Vani's favorite thing about MYAC is the opportunity it gives youth to make a positive impact in their community.
Dario Smagata - Vice Chair
Dario Smagata is a grade 12 student at Welland Centennial Secondary School. This is Dario's third year on MYAC and his second year on the Executive Council. Dario is a Tech Rep on Centennial's Students' Council. He is also involved in many other school groups including OSAID (Ontario Students Against Impaired Driving), Centennial For Christ, and others. Dario's favourite place in Welland is hard to choose... he thinks there are so many good places, like Merritt Island or Guerrilla Park for the outdoors, or the library and museum for indoor activities. He loves living in Welland because of the variety of activities that are available, and for the arts and culture that is on display all across town! When he's not busy with any of his commitments, he enjoys creative writing. Dario also has his own vinyl record collection!

Shelby Laing - Publicity and Promotions Coordinator
Shelby Laing is a grade 10 student at Welland Centennial Secondary School. Shelby enjoys cheerleading, spending time with friends, and getting involved within her community. Shelby enjoys travelling, but also loves the feeling of being at home in Welland. She is a member of Centennial's students' council as Grade 10 Rep, and is also a member of Centennial's Safe School Team. Her favourite thing about Welland is the friendly community and atmosphere. Shelby loves MYAC because of the many different ways they get youth involved and interested in what Welland has to offer.
